I wonder if it's ``sendmail'' that's doing the troublesome DNS, making ``fetchmail'' wait and thus causing the whole chain reaction? To try to avoid that scenario, I've long been running sendmail with the following two .mc options: FEATURE(`accept_unqualified_senders') FEATURE(`accept_unresolvable_domains') but still the problem bites me!
