Well I'd hate to have to replace my 2000/2001 Inter 1100R 1RU rackmount servers we use in the cololations facility. P3's surely aren't 1996 hardware. No reason to have to put a space hogging CD-ROM in something where it would only be used for install. I can boot from floppy and install from ftp in a short time since the machines are on 1GB links into a 10GB global network. Space is at a premium considering how much it costs to rent a rack.
