What I'd like to do is plug that array into a new/different freebsd host machine. Is there anything I need to do to prepare the new machine for the array? Naively, I'd hope that the new machine will pick up the geom configuration from the drives themselves, so I won't have to run any gmirror or gstripe commands on the new machine after the JBOD has been plugged into it. Can anyone who has done this before give me a few tips on how to plan appropriately for such a move? -- Joe Schaefer
