I would like to do this, and am thinking about buying a graphics card for this purpose. First of all, is this idea of running DRI on the stable branch plausible? I see the instructions at http://docs.freebsd.org/cgi/getmsg.cgi?fetch=1125326+0+archive/2000/freebsd-questions/20000903.freebsd-questions And some follow ups but I am curious how well this setup works. Second, I have been leaning towards a matrox G400 (I already have one at home, and this would be only one setup to get working). I want decent OpenGL performance, but I am not a mad gamer. In fact the quake demo gives me motion-sickness :-) I think I can still get a G400 instead of a G450. db To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
