Verbose dmesg could give more info. > > OK, I though the sysctl would be noisy enough :) Try to comment out HDA_CODEC_ALC883 switch section of hdac.c near line 4650. There is an old hack related to mic reference voltage to workaround some problems. May be it is not applicable here. -- Alexander Motin
