Any help to get the cdrom working will be appreciated. Error message is something like: acd0: READ_BIG command timeout - resetting ata1: resetting devices .. done and is repeated several times I've tried fixes for a similar problem as suggested in later release notes: set hw.ata.ata_dma="1" set hw.ata.atapi_dma="1" at start of boot and in /boot/loader.conf but this doesn't make any difference that I can see. NetBSD 1.5.2 installed straight off and cdrom seems to be fully functional afterwards (so I should be able to mount a FreeBSD partition and copy the cd set over from NetBSD).
