I cvsupped the ports a couple of hours ago (Italian time); my -STABLE was made on 6-Feb-2000 (yes, I'll make world again tomorrow :-) Of course, I had to state NO in the USA_RESIDENT variable in /etc/make.conf. The openssh port installed openssl and then installed openssh itself without significant problems on my machine. The only little "anomaly" is a redefinition of sa_family_t and soklen_t on the part of the openssh port. Also, the following occurred: Doing certs /usr/libexec/ld-elf.so.1: Shared object "libssl.so.1" not found ICE-CA.pem does not contain a certificate /usr/libexec/ld-elf.so.1: Shared object "libssl.so.1" not found ICE-root.pem does not contain a certificate I have never used crytography before; however, I have found the dreaded libssl.so.1 in /usr/local/lib. At the end of my installation, a couple of keys were generated. I have yet to read the man pages and the documentation *carefully* . Probably these warnings and "errors" are immaterial; if they aren't, someone in this list (I hope) will tell us :-) HTH Salvo To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
