Readers of the OpenBSD source-changes list will notice that they have had a few kernel fixes relating to signals and such that have traditionally been non-conformant areas of BSD based kernels, so there have been a few fixes already in OpenBSD. Likely similar ones need to be made to NetBSD and FreeBSD, but I've not looked in detail at the changes made, nor the FreeBSD code. Warner
