A 3com 3CRPAG175 (ath) is no longer recognized (or so). This is new. Previous cvsup was approx 2weeks (best guess). All was fine then. This is cvsup of may 6 2004. Insertion of Intel EtherExpress works flawlessly. Either booting with the ath card already inserted or inserting when up, gives same mesg. Disabling acpi doesn't help. hw.pci.allow_unsupported_io_range=1 doesn't help. Tried other, identical card to rule _that_ out; same prob. Yes, ath and ath_hal are in the kernel. As said, it did work. Machine is Compaq Presario 1600-XL144 (laptop). There's also some other stuff slightly 'off', but non-functioning ath bugs me most. oh,.. and the uhub0 error is also new. It seems to work though. Please CC me, as all those lists were driving me up the walls. If I've missed something obvious, I appologize on forehand :-) Related to recent pci /acpi changes? dmesg shows insertion of ath card-> failure, followed by insertion of xe card- >succes. grtz, Dylan Here's dmesg: ## Copyright (c) 1992-2004 The FreeBSD Project.
