We Linux users regard BSD as a big > brother to Linux, but you seem not to act that way. You're right, I don't. Linux is a nice, SysVish system that benefits from Open Source. If I was interested in such, I'd find a Linux distribution I liked. Linux also makes a nice desktop system, with better support for oddball hardware, and distributions built to cater to Windows users. The latter I don't want, and would avoid in a BSD system as well as a Linux system. The former I'm willing to give up to get BSD instead of SysV.
