But I did this and it worked for me. Thanks! I finally tried this out, and it seems to help tremendously. The ticker is now only veering off a tenth of a second or so every few hours, and ntpd can keep up with that pretty easily. Does anyone have more info on what these really do? Also, I did a boot -v and the calibration never ended until I hit enter. Is that a feature of the -v or is that a feature of the calibration?
