So, I installed the generic SVGA and the VGA16 driver. The problem is that when I run XF86Setup, even if I tell X to use the SVGA server, and even if I mess with the different monitor types (I've tried all of them), X only runs in a really low resolution. Hardly any of the windows that pop up fit on the screen. So, my question is how do I get it to run in just a plain SVGA mode???? Do I have to install something else??? --Jeff W.
