I am looking at the Intel Pro/100 Desktop Adapter PCI with 3DES 168-bit Encryption. Its part # is PILA8460C3 My question is - Will FreeBSD version 2.2.2 support a recently released network card like the one above, or is the FreeBSD version 2.2.2 too old to be compatible with this new network card above? If this Intel network card will work with FreeBSD version 2.2.2 - can you provide me the version of the Intel Software drivers that you think will work best on this card and the FreeBSD version 2.2.2.
