One of the screens wants to know about the monitor details - horizontal and vertical rates, but these don't apply to the lcd screen. The custom options are all standard crt monitors. How do I set up X to run on the LCD screen? I have tried every custom option on the list, I have tried nearly every Dell option on the monitor list, and none of them will work. I called Dell, they refuse to support any *nix on a laptop. I have 3 of these to set up, and about a dozen more in the next couple months. Please help with this one, we're about to give up on Dell and try another brand, though I don't see how that will make any differance, the X set up still has only standard crt monitors on the list. -- Chip Wiegand Alternative Operating Systems www.wiegand.org To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
