I have getty watching ttyd0 for incoming calls. When I use `ppp` to access /dev/cuaa0 and /dev/cuaa1 it uses /dev/ttyd1 for both. When getty is not set to watch /dev/ttyd0 ppp uses ttyd0 when told to use /dev/cuaa0 and ttyd1 when told to use /dev/cuaa1. Maybe this is how it is supposed to work, if so, disregard.
