Now I'm trying to get direct rendering to work. According to what I've been able to find, it should work for FreeBSD, but I can't seem to get it working. I've tried adding Load "dri" Load "glx" to /etc/X11/XF86Config, but glxinfo still shows that it's not doing direct rendering. I found one pointer to kernel modules in /usr/ports/x11/XFree86-4/work/xc/programs/Xserver/hw/xfree86/os-support/bsd/drm/kernel, but it doesn't seem to be compiling. If anyone's made any progress with this, I'd be quite appreciative of the help!
