I've using FreeBSD and Win98 (for = playing games) on=20 the same HDD. These days I've got ESS = 1938=20 (Solo-1) sound card, but I can't recognize it using pnpinfo! Windows = drivers=20 initialized it somehows and after that it's viewed as ESS1868 clone = (SBPro 3.1)=20 port 0x240 irq 5 dma 1. I must start DOS, after that boot to=20 FreeBSD.
 
Did someone help me? I lost too much = time to find=20 where the problem could be! I can attach DOS config files (20-30k=20 each).
