I just was wondering why when i do ping 192.165.0.255 (the broadcast) nobody answers in my local network. Theare many boxes in the network and they all have the same config. ifconfig -a says: ed1: flags=8843 mtu 1500 inet 192.168.0.1 netmask 0xffffff00 broadcast 192.168.0.255 ether 00:80:48:c6:9d:37 FBSD: 4.1.1-STABLE, no other problems detected.
