If you have a Back-UPS or other, find another application to use. I've got a 1400 Smart-UPS and even it doesn't like upsmon. I get all the readings correct for voltage, % load, etc, but when I test it by removing AC, it tells me only 4% of battery is left and immediately begin shutdown sequence. After that, upsmon won't report any readings from the ups until I reboot. I can look at the outside of the unit and see it's still got a full charge. bleh. I'm going to look into nut this weekend. I think it has support for a wider variety of brands/models. And yes, it's in the ports collection! -Otter -----Original Message----- From: owner-freebsd-questions@FreeBSD.ORG [mailto:owner-freebsd-questions@FreeBSD.ORG]On Behalf Of Corvette Sent: Monday, January 22, 2001 12:41 PM To: freebsd-questions@FreeBSD.ORG Subject: Re: UPS' * Micke Josefsson [20010122 19:42]: writing on the subject 'RE: UPS'' Micke> Micke> On 22-Jan-01 Matt Bettinger wrote: Micke> > Hello, Micke> > Micke> > Had the power go out for me at the home and ofcourse the network went down and Micke> > my Micke> > bsd box had a tough time recovering.
