I've heard reports about similar behavior on another SMP 4.6-STABLE system. We've seen this happening with Opera and Halflife Counterstrike servers. In the latter case, the CPU consumption remained considerable, but no connections to the server port could be established. I've got an Opera still 'running', if anyone wants more specific info, I can provide it. Cheers, Dean -- Dean C.
