I am trying to setup the PnP functionality with the device pnp0 line in my kernel configuration file to recompile the kernel. I did not see a device for pnp0 in /dev. I tried to set up the device pnp0 with the command sh MAKEDEV pnp0 and got the message pnp0 - no such device name. What is the current technique for setting up the pnp device to on a 4.3 system? Also where does the manual pnp command go if the kernel rebuild does not work? I am having problems setting up an internal HSP56 MicroModem modem from PcTel Inc. __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
