I'd bet that you have an IRQ conflict. Edit the '?' in the pccard.conf file config line to a set number, probably 9, 10, or 11. If you hit the right one, you may find it works. If you can't get it to work, try asking on a more appropriate list, either freebsd-mobile@freebsd.org or freebsd-xircom@lovett.com.. R.
