Recent versions of fetchmail include a Python script for configuring fetchmail. Ville has added a RUN_DEPENDS line for lang/python; I am concerned about this dependency, because it would require Python, Tk80, and X11 to be installed to install the fetchmail port, when they are only required for a non-essential component. Opinions? Would it be better to print a warning, stating that the configurator will fail if python is not installed?
