i downloaded the meta port of kde 2.1 to my /tmp. it was in the for of
kde2.tar and here is what i did:

yellow# cd /tmp/
yellow# tar xvf kde2.tar (it tared a pub directory)
yellow# cd pub/FreeBSD/branches/-current/ports/x11/kde2/
yellow# make install

and ended up with kde 2.0  ???  WHAT HAPPENED??

I'VE BEEN COMPILING FOR 2 DAYS NOW
