While I very like FreeBSD, and Sybase ASE 11.9.2 (I have not tried ASA) will work on FreeBSD in Linux emulation mode, also Sybase has ASE11.0.3 which is _free_ and they have optimized for FreeBSD Linux binary. But I don't recommend you use FreeBSD for Sybase database server. Look at Solaris (AFAIK Solaris 8, both Intel and Sparc is free for use on systems which have from 1 to 8 processors) > We do have a very efficient operation by next year. Also, AFAIK PowerBuilder is Windows only. -- Igor Robul, Unix System Administrator & Programmer @ sanatorium "Raduga", Sochi, Russia http://www.brainbench.com/transcript.jsp?pid=304744 To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
