Message-ID: MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: TEXT/PLAIN; charset=US-ASCII Sender: owner-freebsd-net@FreeBSD.ORG Precedence: bulk X-Loop: FreeBSD.org I have noticed that sendmail realy hogs my ppp link, especialy if my system is diverting email ( ie. receiving and sending at the same time ). When this is happening viewing internet web pages is painfully slow and ping delays are very high. Is it possible to fine tune the system or sendmail so that the rate of receiving and sending email is restricted ( therefore allowing other packets to get through ) ???
