I get keyboard hang on some machines when starting kdm (not xdm, but almost:) automatically. I've tried sleeping before and after, but it won't help on all configurations. When running X over nfs, I need to log in to the console and start kdm manually; I've found no other way. At home, with a single machine, it works fine with some sleep before(?) issuing 'kdm'. This is on all versions of kde and all version of X >= 3.3 and all version of FreeBSD >= 2.1. Any ideas?
