On loading 4.2R the ed0 interface does not appear at all. The configuration utility (during installation) was used to create the kernel.conf file. This is the first time in several upgrades (skipped 4.0 and 4.1) where this has happened and results in no network. I can't do too much research since this box still does not have all "my stuff" on it yet. The OS itself and X are running fine, so this is a puzzle. The kernel.conf file and dmesg output are below.
