i note the handbook is still missing the soundcard configuration stuff.  i
found a page at
http://www.cs.ndsu.nodak.edu/~tinguely/mbone-freebsd/audio.html which
shows at least six different sound cards and how to include kernel support
for them.  perhaps you could put that into the FAQ pending a 'real' entry
into the handbook?
