hello,

i've configured PPP with my isp information, my ppp.conf is below.
when i issue the command, 'ppp snfc21', i get the 'ppp on SNFC21>'
prompt,
but if i then issue the command 'dial', this is the output:

ppp on snfc21> dial
Dial attempt 1
dial failed
ppp on snfc21>
=========================

however, if i go to the terminal, manually dial, log in, then it will
switch to packet mode and PPP comes up.

why won't it dial by itself??
