I then proceeded to build X with elf and a.out libraries.I installed netscape and it wouldn't start because it could not find ld.so. I could not find ld.so anywhere. I tried linking to the ld-elf.so (?) and it didn't work either. I rebuilt world (lots of changes in CVS anyway) and all is well. However, I have to wonder if there is a problem with the Release process that is missing this file/link.
