The problem is with HylaFAX. Disable ModemSoftRTFCC and then send with 2D-MR ('sendfax -2') and you'll probably not have a problem. Please try 4.2.5.3 found at: http://hylafax.sourceforge.net/download.php It includes a fix to the MMR end-of-data EOFB signal that seems to help some of the situations like the one you're reporting.
