There exist such things as ISA to PCMCIA and PCI to PCMCIA bus adapter
cards. If you buy an ISA or PCI WaveLAN/IEEE card, what you're really
getting is one of these bus adapters with a PCMCIA WaveLAN/IEEE module.
So if you're worried about testing PCMCIA with alpha hardware, don't be. :)
