Sender: owner-freebsd-questions@FreeBSD.ORG Precedence: bulk X-Loop: FreeBSD.ORG (Please copy responses to rshea@my-deja.com for obvious reasons ...) Hi - I've got a freebsd system which has only a system console. Although I can still use F1,F2.. etc to change terminals I cannot use the keyboard has become locked for anything else. I would like to reboot but obviously I can't ! I'm thinking about just powercycling but I know that's not a good idea generally. Anyone got any good ideas as to how I can get out of this ? For background the whole machine seems sick, no web pages are served and ping is not responded to. any ideas welcome thanks richard shea. rshea@my-deja.com ------------------------------------------------------------ --== Sent via Deja.com ==-- http://www.deja.com/ To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
