I just setup a new machine and while it is supposed to be full SATA II i still see these lines in at kernel init: Mar 6 14:00:09 aaa kernel: ad8: 305245MB at ata4-master SATA150 Mar 6 14:00:09 aaa kernel: ad10: 305245MB at ata5-master SATA150 As you see, it says SATA150 , while the drives are SATA II (which is, as i understand, SATA 300). Both drives are connected to RAID controller and form a mirror raid: Mar 6 14:00:09 aaa kernel: ar0: 305108MB status: READY Mar 6 14:00:09 aaa kernel: ar0: disk0 READY (master) using ad8 at ata4-master Mar 6 14:00:09 aaa kernel: ar0: disk1 READY (mirror) using ad10 at ata5-master Any idea how to make it work as SATA II? -- Regards, Artem
