The cdcontrol program works fine otherwise. I just can't get audio out of the music CDs. Steps: 1. cdcontrol -f /dev/acd0c play - this starts up the cd. I can get "info" on the cd and look at volume controls and everything else. I can stop, eject, and pause/resume the CD. Nothing wrong in those areas. Just no audio. I can play sound or play wav files fine so I have audio. Just that I can't get the sound out of music CDs. I have seen many answers on the Net but haven't found a simple answer to this question that is up to date. Help anyone? Seems simple, but yet I see a lot of postings about this one topic.
