Problem was my windows box has a pgm called tiny firewall that was not letting putty packets out. Disabled it and putty opened and connected to FBSD box. Now I end up with a telnet session to my FBSD box. What I want to do is have a ssh session between my Winbox and my FBSD server where I can run other pgms [tn3270 & FTP-pro] through putty. Can I do that? -----Original Message----- From: Joel Dinel [mailto:dinjo@touchtunes.com] Sent: Saturday, January 19, 2002 10:21 PM To: Joe & Fhe Barbish Cc: freebsd-questions@FreeBSD.ORG Subject: Re: ssh & putty I personally only change the terminal emulation and other non-critical options. What release of PuTTy are you using? 0.51?
