I have one SATA300 TX4 PCI Controller in use from about 2 years in my SMB serwer running celeron 1Ghz and 2 x WDC WD2500YS-01SHB0 (250GB each). Disks are under controll of gmirror with UFS2 fs.. When stable branch was 6.x I had problems similiar to described here: http://lists.freebsd.org/pipermail/freebsd-bugs/2007-October/026137.html. In practice - at heavy load, after some timeouts, one of disk drives disconnects and controller doesn't recognize any disks at this sata channel untl reboot. Howewer, no problems occured since I've upgraded Freebsd to 7.x. -- Bartosz Stec - specjalista ds. IT AUXILIA Spółka z o.o. ul. Wałbrzyska 43/2 52-314 Wrocław tel. (71) 79 99 760 w. 69 GSM: 662171775
