I am transferring a 20 M file. ftping from ver. 1.1.5.1 to ver. 2.2.2 of FreeBSD, 117 K/s transfer rate. get file ftping from ver. 2.2.2. to ver. 2.2.1 of FreeBSD, 3.65 K/s put file ftping from ver. 2.2.2 to ver 1.1.5.1 4.31 K/s put file ftping from ver 1.1.5.1 from ver 2.2.2 18.8 K/s get file ftping from ver 1.1.5.1 to ver 2.2.1 of FreeBSD, 130 K/s put file ftping from a HP mini computer to ver. 1.1.5.1 500 K/s ftping from a HP mini computer to ver 2.2.2. or 2.2.1 3 K/s Has anyone else noticed a difference in ftp transfer rates.
