This is what I tried so far (leafnode+ is my test case): cvs -R -d /usr/home/ncvs checkout -P ports/news/leafnode+ will result in creating and populating the directory pkg, thus producing a mix of old and new layout. Specifying -r HEAD explicitly shows the same results. The repo lives in /usr/home/ncvs and is synched via cvsup from cvsup4.de.
