They hacked the scripts much and provide the possibility to switch between several window managers, but every windows manager at least has the same client configured, so you can really choose between 'look and feel' and 'functionality', not 'what desktop has the most clients configured' ;-) So I'd love to see an approach, where people think, what functionality a Unix Desktop has to offer - what client programs - what pointer (mouse) / keyboard functionality and then do it in every windowmanager ... Swallow, where swallowing makes sense and bind top to the swallowed xload and such ... And make it possible, to switch between several window managers ... afterstep, fvwm, fvwm95, kde, enlightenment, ... and make that look the same for every window manager platform.
