I didn't realise how memory intensive gnome + e was until i ran Top. In addition to this memory usage another reason i chose to switch was when i exit out og X my system reboots! This does not occur EVERYTIME but once is too much for me. Another thing is I get alot of GTK errors whenever i exit (and the machine does not reboot) I am using Metro-X server and looking for a decent WM. Is there a way i can try to run Gnome + blackbox? I have the files just not sure as how to make them both load. I couldn't come up with a fix for that one. It still complains when I try to switch windowmanagers. Hopefully it will get fixed soon. F.
