Specifically, the scsi controller resetting issues reported in: Subject: FreeBSD 5.3p6-5.4RC3, Supermicro X6DHR-8G, Dual 3.6GHz Xeons,Adaptec aic7902 SCSI interface doesn't work in UP kernel And the general lockups reported in: Subject: SuperMicro X5DP8-G2MB/(2)XEON 2.4/1GB RAM 5.4-S Freeze which required the ich-periodic-smm-disable.c program to be run at startup are both fixed. 6.1 looks to be a very solid release and our performance and stability testing have been positive so far. We'll continue to test with the new 6.1-RC2. Thanks for everybody's work on this. -- - Lamont "I am not an atomic playboy."
