I can't get the system to recognize the controller. I've tried 2.2.6-PAO (found an apparent bug in the attach routine and worked around it [the problem is already documented in the code]). I found a very informative message from Matthias.Apitz@SOFTCON.de (Matthias Apitz), thank you, which suggested the PCCARD kernel in the standard release. I've tried that for both 2.2.6 and 2.2.7 with the same results. During the boot pcic0 and pcic1 are found without complaint (one supicious item is on the discovery message "int a irq ??", is the unknown irq significant?). But pccardd and pccardc insist there are no slots, sometimes complaining that /dev/card0 is not configured. Any suggestions? thanks dayton -- Dayton Clark CIS Department dayton@brooklyn.cuny.edu Brooklyn College/CUNY 718.951.4811 Brooklyn, New York 11210 718.951.4842 (fax) To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-mobile" in the body of the message
