I specified explicitely the rw option in fstab but the mount point remained read only. Then I tried chmod a=rwx as root but the mount point remained read only. I currently use 3.1 FreeBSD Release and intend to upgrade to 3.2. Is there any possible risk of loosing the installation? If anybody does know any answer to both problems, I would gratefully appreciate if he/she could share it with me.
