Then which version of Solaris? What you want to do is possible without any problem. I run a Sun Netra with Solaris 2.6 as file server, and nfs mount it to a FreeBSD 3.1 machine which is used for the web server. No problems in the slightest. Previously ran same setup on FreeBSD 2.2.7 with Solaris 2.5 as well. Also, what is the output of the 'share' command on your Solaris box? Stephen C.
