I'm trying to compile the ppc kernel. I've taken the GENERIC config and running make depend stops in the aic7xxx/aicasm directory. The error is that the linker cannot find libl. This seems to be a userspace program. Can I bypass this step while compiling the kernel? Otherwise, how can I fix it? I am running fbsd 6 on an i386. 2. How can I setup a complete crosscompile environment including the cross compiled libc and other libraries? -aditya
