Sender: owner-questions@FreeBSD.org X-Loop: FreeBSD.org Precedence: bulk Can any one please assist me???? I have searched the man for the default flags. I became confused and have stuffed a lot of them up. I issued a chmod 0007 * on most dirs followed by a chmod ug+w * . Is there an easy way of reseting all rights back to square 1 as it were, I have read the man section on install and considered issuing a chmod 0755 * in all dirs. Any guidance will be greatly appreciated as I am only a rank novice. I can still log in as root fine so all is not lost maybe. I would welcome the source location of any good FreeBSD manuals, books or help files. Thank you. Kind Regards, Jeffrey Itzstein Fritzlink Connections - Sydney Australia - www.fritzlink.net.au
