I am facing strange issue with FreeBSD 8.0 RC1 and my laptop, Asus K40IN - with enhanced mode for IDE channels the on-board DVD RW drive is not recognized. I've attached verbose logs from dmesg for both modes (enhanced and compatible). Probably somebody could take a look at this problem (I think it is related to ahci module)?
