So...heres my question I recently downloaded FreeBSD 3.4 to deploy on a co-located server, and I would like to increase the maxsockets variable beyond its default of 1064. How can this be done? I have tryed going through the manual and I didnt have any luck, I also tryed using sysctl -w kernel.ipc.maxsockets=1064 which told me the value was read only. Please help...
